UFC on ESPN+

This afternoon (3/18/19), the UFC announced a deal with ESPN, extending its media rights through 2025. In that agreement:

• UFC allowed ESPN+ to become its exclusive PPV provider beginning with UFC 236 on April 13, 2019
• UFC PPVs will only be accessible by subscribing to ESPN+, and then purchasing the event from their platform at a separate price point
• UFC PPVs will no longer be available to any cable, satellite and telco customers, just through ESPN+

iNDEMAND was informed of this news shortly before it broke at 4 p.m. EST today. As you know, iNDEMAND had been negotiating a long-term distribution deal with the UFC, as they have been a longtime partner.
