  5. What is the difference between analog and digital channels?

Analog channels are channels between 2 and 99 and no converter is needed to receive analogue channels. Digital channels are delivered by a digital converter. However, effective June 2008 cable operators were required to convert their channel lineup to digital only. Mid-Hudson Cable currently sends signals out in both analog and digital to ensure that all our subscribers are able to receive our services.
